It’s been a busy few weeks behind the scenes setting up the River Summit and Festival as a charity and seeking out feedback from the partners and wider stakeholders this year.

We now look towards the final celebration of the summer, The River Café and Festival in the foothills of the French Pyrenees on August 21st. This year we are doing something a little different. For us, it is always a focus that we engage in the river and the natural environment, so with that in mind, from 11am to 4pm, we will be hosting a series of workshops, a sharing auberge espagnol style lunch and taking some time to just enjoy - to indulge our senses in the peace, the birdsong, pluck the fruit hanging ripe on the trees, dip our toes or submerge ourselves in the River L’Hers, to connect with fellow guests, to tell stories of your sense of connection to the river, all in the garden of L’Oasis.

We travel upstream for the evenings celebration at Lac de Montbel, fed by the River L’Hers where we will gather to continue to celebrate rivers and dance under the stars at the guingette style bar on the shore of the lake.
